ACL Filtering

ACL Filtering

ACL

The ACL form is used to setup and modify the MAC filtering list. MAC filtering allows the user to either limit specific MAC addresses from associating with the AP, or specifically indicates which MAC addresses can associate with the AP. An ACL entry is often used with backhaul links to limit associations to just the child radio MAC address.

ACL Policy

The ACL Policy  indicates how to use the ACL to limit access to the AP. Valid values in the dropdown menu are:

Open                Disable ACL Checking.

Allow                Only ALLOW association with MAC addresses on the list.

Deny                Deny association with any MAC address on the list.

Mac Address

Enter a valid MAC Address to add to the MAC filtering list.

Mac List

This is the MAC filtering list.  Click on an existing entry and click Remove MAC to delete it from the list or click Add MAC to add a Mac Address to the list.
