21 Dec 2015:

9:15 WST: All sites are now back on their own portal logins.  Current testing indicates all is working fine but further testing is taking place to ensure this is maintained.

9:00 WST: Intermittent login issues have been reported and Acurix engineers are looking into the problem.

10:30 WST: An emergency server reboot will be undertaken to help in the fault finding process.

11:44 WST: Emergency reboots are about to commence.

13:11 WST: Intermittent logins still continue and Acurix has escalated the fault to our suppliers. Connections will occur and we are recommending customer retry a few times as one logged-in the service will perform normally.

16:50 WST: Intermittent logins continue and Acurix staff will continue to monitor the situation. A temporary fix was tried with our upstream but that did not resolve the issue for any major length of time.

21:30 WST: An infrastructure reset will be undertaken shortly for fault analysis for the slow logins.

22:00 WST: An infrastructure reset was completed.

00:30 WST: Our supplier completed checks on the system and will provide recommendations after an evaluation process.

5:00 WST: Our supplier continues to look at the issue. Changes made overnight will be evaluated as the load on the system increases.

8:00 WST: The problem appears to be isolated to a balancing service at AWS. This is now being investigated with AWS. If customers have a connection issue please continue to re-try during this investigation stage and once you are connected all service will run as expected. Thanks for your patience.

9:30 WST: The fault has been isolated to an issue at AWS. Acurix has logged a support ticket with AWS to verify what the intermittent routing issue is at their end.

13:00 WST: Issue is still with AWS pending verification.

17:00 WST: AWS engineers are investigating the fault.

2:00 WST: Replication of the issue is under investigation.

9:00 WST: Acurix Network has provided a maintenance login page so that users are not affected by the slow login fault. This page will remain until further fault finding has been completed.

13:40 WST: Acurix Networks Wi-Fi services will be out of service for the next 2-4 hours.  This is due to a forced upgrade required to troubleshoot the current login issue.

18:30 WST: The Acurix maintenance login page will remain for further testings. Faults have been rectified but the maintenance page allows us to control and test the outcomes. A further update will be provided in 12 hrs but all slow logins appear to be resolved.

18th December:

9:00 WST: The Portal login was enabled for testing earlier but has now been turned off. The Acurix Maintenance page will remain for the rest of the day.

21st December:

9:00 WST: The fault at Amazon was fixed on the 18th Dec but Acurix operations left the maintenance page running until it was fully verified. We converted back to the customer splash page this morning and all appears to be running as expected. Acurix staff wish you all the best for the holiday season and Acurix operations will be available through this period.
