Updating Devices from Controller

Latest Network Node firmware version supports firmware upgrades using a Pull implementation - the nodes download the firmware from a specified URL instead of upload the file via the GUI. The new upgrade system can handle big files in a more reliable way as well as better handle slow network connections or avoid corrupted data.

The new Upgrade can be used via the ACM by right clicking on the Network Device and select the version to upgrade, the system will automatically detect the type of options available for the specific hardware selected.

Once the version is selected the “Changelog” is displayed (it is also possible to define the speed of the download process) then click upgrade.

The progress bar will display the upgrade progress and it will display the success or failure of the event.
