Monitoring the summary of end-users activities through the Dashboard

Summary is part of the Dashboard section.

Data displayed here refer to the moment when the page is loaded. In order to refresh your data, it is possible to click the  button (Refresh) in the command toolbar.

This subsection consists of two parts:

  • Today's data
  • Overall data

In the Today's data, it is possible to monitor some events occurred during the current day.

On the left of the Today data part, there is a line chart reporting information about events occurred during the current day. The label for each point in the x-Axis represents the start of a one-hour time interval.


Example:
At the point "0" are indicated events performed between 12 AM and 12:59:59 AM for the current day.

 By selecting the appropriate value item in the drop-down menu at the top of the Summary tab, it is possible to get information about the following events:

  • Online users: the total number of online end-users, during the selected time interval.
  • Logins: the total number of end-users who performed the login action, during the selected interval.
  • Registered users: the number of end-users who registered to the platform, during the selected interval.
  • Traffic: the quantity of traffic performed by end-users, during the selected interval.
  • Impressions: how many times Splash Portals have been displayed to end-users, during the selected time interval.

On the right of the Today data part, there are some indicators showing:

  • Online users (live): how many end-users are online when the dashboard is displayed.
  • MAX online users: the peak of online end-users during the last hour.
  • Registered users: how many end-users have been registered to the platform during the last hour.
  • Logins: how many end-users performed the login action during the last hour.
  • Impressions: how many times end-users displayed the Splash Portals during the last hour.

This information in this area is displayed regardless of the value item selected in the drop-down menu at the top of the Summary tab.

 Today's data

In the Overall data part it is possible to see a summary of the events occurred anytime, starting from the date when the platform was delivered.

On the left of the Overall data part, there are some indicators showing the following data:

  • Registered users: the number of end-users who anytime registered to the platform.
  • Traffic: the quantity of traffic performed anytime by end-users.
  • Logins: the total number of end-users who anytime performed the login action.
  • Impressions: how many times the Splash Portals have been anytime displayed to end-users.
  • Hotspots: the number of Hotspots registered in the system.
  • WiFiArea: the number of WiFi Areas associated. This information will be displayed only to the Tenant, since the WiFi Area Owner necessarily owns only one WiFi Area, in any case.

On the right of the Overall data part, there is a pie chart indicating the devices for the end-users which anytime has accessed the Splash Portals, in percentage, according to the following categories:

  • Desktop: or rather it indicates a "Personal Computer".
  • Smartphone
  • Tablet
