00:15 WST: What appears to have been an Island wide power problem on Rottnest Island has caused an outage to key equipment. As a result no Wi-Fi access is currently available. Acurix engineers are monitoring the problem and will put a plan into action.
1:30 WST: A key location in which the main controllers and switch for the Island has not recovered as a result of the power outage. Further details will be provided when Acurix can gain access to Island staff.
10:00 WST: An Acurix Engineer was dispatched to Rottnest Island on the first available ferry.
11:50 WST: The power outage caused a primary switch to boot into a partial default config mode. This was rectified and services are back on-line.
